1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
All in me bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
Don’t forget all his benefits:
3 Who forgives all of your sins,
Who heals all your sicknesses,
4 Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with care and love,
5 Satisfies your life with good,
Like an eagle your youth renews.
6 The LORD works righteousness,
Justice for all who are oppressed.
7 His own ways, his great deeds,
He showed Moses and Israel’s sons.
8 Gracious is the LORD and kind,
Slow to anger, full of love;
9 He will not continue to strive.
Anger he will not preserve,
10 Or give what our sins deserve;
He won’t pay us back for our crimes.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is his steadfast love to those who fear him.
12 And as far as the east is distant from the west,
So far does he take our sins away from us.
13 As the love that a father sets upon his children,
So the love of the LORD upon all those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame; He remembers we are dust.
15 Like the grass are man’s days;
He grows like flowers of the field.
16 When the wind blows on him,
His place knows him no more; he’s gone.
17 But for those who fear the LORD,
Evermore to evermore,
He will show his steadfast love,
Righteousness to sons of sons,
18 Those who keep his covenant,
Who remember to do his word.
19 For the LORD in the heavens has established his throne,
And the LORD, his own kingdom governs over all things.
20 Bless the LORD, angels and you mighty who do his word;
Bless the LORD as you listen to the voice of his word.
21 Bless the LORD, all his hosts and servants who do his will;
22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all the places he rules.
Bless the LORD, O my soul; bless the LORD, O my soul!

Love the way the songs progress. The hymns that I remember in a way that is not too far removed from the originals I grew up with.
Reminds me of KOINE, another Lutheran artist who portrays hymns for the next generation! baa055
